If you have chosen to get a new device using New Phone Trade Up or Flex Upgrade you will need to return your current device in good working order (that you are Trading-Up or Flex upgrading from) to avoid being charged a ‘non-return’ fee.

We will advise you at the time of purchase how you can return your device.

If you’re unsure, follow this simple tip once you have received your new handset:

  • If it came with a return satchel: Use this to return your device
  • If no return satchel came with your device: You’ll need to drop in to your local Optus store to return the device

Please note that return satchels are only available with the Flex Upgrade option
