Just went in store, cancelled my order that was on hold for a month and got the phone in store!

I would recommend this to anyone who is able to do so!

Also if the order says ‘cannot be cancelled’ the employees can call up and get it cancelled despite this!

I hope Optus is suing Toll for this whole debacle....Toll's lack of investment in cyber security is negligent. Business ground to halt for 2 weeks and counting

what is the go here? 

 

It seems everybody has been waititng for a very long time.

 

Surely this gives us reason to back out of any agreement?

This is not on the part of Optus as they should have been updating individual customers with updates.
This can be executed by a simple SMS as they do when the accounts are overdue or any otherthing even for a survey after a call. If it is for their benefit.
This type of planning and execution and without even being accountable for it can be detrimental in the long run for them.
This is business and market is very dynamic .
No body forgets the king NOKIA.

I read through the last couple of pages on the big thread below and nothing has been mentioned. I assume from that they still have the delays.

Delays

So you think it is because the phones etc are made in China? Weird and coincidence this all happened at around the same time as the outbreak. Just a thought. Trying to work out how a company this large is supposedly subject to courier companies and logistics.
