Hey @carrac, as long as your streaming Premier League content whilst connected to the Optus network - all usage incurred will be un-metered. Selected plans just means either a Fixed Broadband service, Postpaid mobile or Data SIM service. If you've currently got an EPL subscription linked to one of those services, you should be fine 🙂
Have you had a look through our support page → https://yescrowd.optus.com.au/t5/custom/page/page-id/EPL-Support/Watching? If there's any further questions, please let me know. Dan
I had the same issue as @carrac - no info on whether my plan was data-free for EPL but decided to just watch a match and see what happened. Sure enough I got a text from Optus saying I had exceeded my data allowance and would be charged $10 for another GB. Some clarity on this would be much appreciated. Luring me in by saying my service is eligible for a free EPL subscription but then charging me for data seems a bit sneaky.
Hey @thebartron, EPL streaming done from the Optus sport app is un-metered. This is for all Optus plans.
Hey matho94, as long as you have the EPL subscription on billed mobile, mobile broadband or home broadband , you can watch EPL data free* on your Optus prepaid service as long as you have a credit balance for data use see here for more info.
