Accessings Advanced Settings in Router Sagemcom f@st 3864

Mat02

Hey Before i start id like to say @Optus If you would not like to have this on YesCrowd Please PM me before removing this guide!

THIS IS ONLY FOR PEOPLE WHO KNOW WHAT THERE DOING!

Okay so im sure many of the network enthusiast people here wouldnt mind a basic guide on how to access the 'ADMIN' account on the router Sagemcom F@st 3864, Our even how to Access Telnet, and disable the TR-069 Client so Lets get started

.

Access the basic admin GUI with http://192.168.0.1 > Management > Settings then download the backupsettings.conf file,

Now with this file you are going to need this Config file decryption tool, This is the easiest way to see your admin password for your router link: https://mega.nz/#!CmYgEa7T (This file is uploaded by me and it is clean for me, But do use at a chance of a risk not that ive found one)

Once you have your config decrypted you need to find were it says <AdminPassword>XXXXXXXXX</AdminPassword> (were the X's will be letters) Copy the letters and head over to base64decode.org paste the letters you copied in the first box and click decrypt the second box will display your PASSWORD

Now head over to your router admin page but this tine make sure the link is http://192.168.0.1/main.html it will prompt you with a login the User is admin and the password is the one above, There you now have access to the admin account on your Sagemcom F@ST 3864.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND ONLY EDIT THESE SETTINGS ONLY IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING!!

TO ENABLE TELNET FOLLOW THIS LINK AND READ THE INSTRUCTIONS THERE! ALSO LISTED THERE IS HOW TO DISABLE TR-069 CLIENT, BUT AGAIN BECARFFUL WHEN EDITING THE BACKUP FILE (MAKE SURE TO HAVE A BACKUP ASWELL)

ALSO KEEP IN MIND THAT DISABLING THE TR-069 CLIENT WILL DISABLE OPTUS'S ACCESS TO REMOTE UPDATE AND CONTROL YOUR ROUTER IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO CONTIUNE RECEIVING ROUTER UPDATES DO NOT CHANGE THE CLIENTS INFO)

FOR MORE HELP PM ME

This took a while to find and reaserch please mark as useful and becareful when editing.
