Your Fetch box is hot

Is anyone getting the message "Your Fetch box is hot"?

It was fine over summer and since the last update I'm getting this when the room is only 20c.

Yes, ours does the same, constantly. Piece of crap.

Any update on this? Mine is on constant now. Box never shuts down etc, but he message is constantly displayed. Getting annoying now.

I unplugged mine off for a while and it seems to have come good. Maybe you could try that and if no luck return it to Optus.

Mine does the same after last update. Annoying and the room is not that hot.

I reckon the best bet would be getting in touch with Tech Support as they'd be able to sort out a replacement box if they can't fix it from their end. Definitely an odd thing to happen with an update :/

I am getting the same message since my fetch box had a firware update.

Hey @Kass I've not heard anything but if you're having the same issues you can organise a replacement box by having a quick chat with Tech Support. You can also call them on 13 13 44.

Hi Jordan,

 Just called tech support and they have advised that this is a known issue introduced in the one of the last updates. They have issued a new firmware update and performing a hard reset via the options menu should initiate the new firmware download and fix the problem.

hopefully this will work.

Hmmm, honestly the first I'd heard of it :/ Guess I must've missed the email. Hopefully this resolves it though, let me know how you go.
