Hi just womdering if I discontue my Optus account and pay for the Fetch box I have, can it be used with another provider?

No. It will not work unless connected to Optus broadband.

Will actually work on other broadband (unless you have cancelled your optus service and then you have an expensive paperweight as it locks down - my fetch mini that I get with my mobile works fine with another providers dsl)
