Unable to get free to air channels (apart from channel 31)

I have completed a full channel scan numerous times and can only receive channel 31 for free to air channels. I have the Tv antenna attached to the STB (in) and the Optus black cable (out) connected to the wall antenna plug. Is this correct and why can't I receive 7,9, 10 etc??

Heya neanstar!

To receive FTA channels via the FetchTV box you'd need to plug your aerial coax from the aerial port in the wall, into the aerial port in the STB and then run a HDMI cable from the STB to the TV.

I am having the same issue and I have the Aerial plugged into the box and HDMI running from Box to TV. I can only pick up C31 too

Hey @Archangelex, this may be caused by the signal strength of your aerial not being strong enough for the box. Are you able to pick up more channels if you plug the aerial into the TV directly?

no I can only get C31 on the TV by itself and all the channels on fetch upto 101 (TVhits) are just Blank screens when Fetch is plugged in

Ah, if the same issue occurs on your TV, then this would indicate a weak signal with your aerial. You'll need to hire a private technician to review the line and possible upgrade it.
