Replacing your Fetch remote control

If you’ve lost or damaged your Fetch remote control, you’ll need to contact us to arrange for a new Fetch remote to be sent your mailing address.

Which Fetch remote am I using?

Generation 4 remote (Netflix)

Before contacting us, you’ll need to make sure that:

  • You’re using the remote within 6 meters of the Set Top Box (STB
  • There is a clear line of sight between the remote and the front of the STB
  • There is nothing coming in between the remote and the STB, including clear plastic or glass items
  • The remote has working batteries

If you’ve followed the steps above and you’re still in need of a replacement, refer to the below:

Damaged or lost remote (non-warranty)

If your remote has been lost or damaged (accidental or otherwise), contact us and we’ll issue a replacement. The new remote will be sent to your preferred mailing address within 5-business days.

Please note:  Replacement remotes will incur a $29.95 remote charge. This will be charged to your next Optus bill.  

Replacement under warranty

If you’re eligible for a replacement under warranty, we’ll issue a replacement remote within 5-business days. You will not be charged a remote replacement fee.
