Straight away upon set up process, after following all the steps the tv comes to a screen that says ‘welcome. System is ready. Please continue to setup your fetch box,’ only problem is, the remote works and the little red light comes on when you press buttons but it doesn’t actually control anything on the box! Please help!
Could be the box. Could be the remote. Try changing the batteries.
Optus will send out a replacement remote straight away.
Unfortunately there is a 15 day back log on swapping the box so that's not cool.
Hey @phillzo1211, have you tried to configure your remote via the Simple Remote set up process?
- Hold down the, "123" button for three seconds. The remote will flash twice
- Find your TV brand below and hold down the number key until the TV switches off
(1 – Hisense 2 – LG 3 – NEC 4 – Palsonic 5 – Panasonic 6 – Samsung 7 – Sanyo 8 – Soniq 9 – Sony 0 - Teac)
- Press the, "123" button then the power button.
