Playback fail Fetch Mighty

We regularly have the message Playback failure come up on programs we have recorded. Software updates have been competed and the box has been restarted multiple times. We have a good internet connection. What would be the reason for this as it is getting quite annoying that we are missing shows from live TV i.e. AFL matches the news and programs we are unable to watch at the time they are televised.

Re: Playback fail Fetch Mighty

I'd suggest the most likely cause is a faulty hard drive.

The box is leased so contact Optus directly and request a replacement. They'll also send a bag to return the old one in.

Thanks Peter, will contact them, thought there might have been a quicker fix 🙂
