We recently upgraded our home theatre receiver to a Yamaha which offers 4K support. When the Apple TV is plugged in to the TV directly Optus sport works fine. However, when plugged into the receiver we get a HDCP error telling us to try changing cable. We can see the menus, but the videos won’t play. I changed to a different HDMI cable and the videos worked again. However the next day, it is not working again, giving the same HDCP error.
does this sound like a cable problem, or could it be a problem with the receiver?
