I’ve been having an issue with a flashing on and off red screen for a few days, it only seems to happen when using apps in my fetch box eg: Netflix or 10 all access. I’ve tried multiple soft resets and a hard reset, this hasn’t made any difference, can anyone assist?
That's the first I've heard of that particular issue, redpenn1608.
Does it happen via direct connection and over wireless? That's really the only other thing left to really try.
After that you'll need to contact Optus directly as it sounds like the box needs to be replaced, note that you'll lose any recordings.
Not the modem, the Fetch box.
Mention what troubleshooting you've already tried, they may do some more first which hopefully works.
