Lagging and poor quality on Optus Sport app when using LG smart tv

My Optus sport app is not working properly when i use the app on my LG smart tv. It continually buffers and lags every 30 secs and the screen is constantly blurred. I’ve tried turning it off and on and deleting and reinstalling the app. The app also works fine on my Optus mobile and laptop.
