So I recently switched to Optus Mobile Broadband for my wifi needs at home. So speed now is great, compared to to crappy 2Mb I was getting on my ADSL (non-Optus).
But now when I connect my smart Samsung TV to this network, I cannot access Freeview/Catchup TV. The "loading" spinner just spins there forever. If I then reconnect this TV to the ADSL network, Freeview works fine.
Is Optus blocking Freeview on their mobile network or is there a simple fix to this?

I'd suspect the issue is more likely on the Samsung end.
Can you play Freview CatchUp on your PC?

Thanks Peter, I haven't tried Freeview on my PC - I'll give that a try this evening whislt on the Optus network.
I'll also check the TV but rather strange that I have no issues when connected to my old adsl wifi network, but bombs out as soon as the TV is connected to the Optus wifi.

That is strange and swings it back to more likely an Optus issue.

sounds like a similar issue to the Hisense TV's. Check out that post - for interest only.
Optus have done nothing about it by the way
