I just upgraded my FetchTV box and noticed that both boxes have connections for composite cable. I was wondering what the 3-coloured composite cable can be used for?
Solved! Solved: Go to Solution.
Hey @chiops, the composite cable is included for those with an older TV or those with no free HDMI ports. We wouldn't recommend you connect this way unless you absolutely have to as you'll receive a better quality picture via HDMI 🙂
DOH!!
Of course, silly me!!
Sorry about the silly question.
Hi there
I received my Mighty STB earlier this month, but it doesn't have RGB Composite connection point on it. I have an older TV set which does not have HDMI. I tried using a HDMI (out) to RGB (in) cable to no avail (NO SIGNAL). How do I go about swapping the STB for one with RGB + HDMI?
Cheers
I'm afraid the older generations of Yes TV by Fetch are no longer available so you would need a TV that supports HDMI if you have the Mighty or Mini box.
