It is ridiculous to have lost streaming ability from my media sever. As per below from the fetch my media hub manual it is to be fixed but when I ask...
Currently, due to a technical limitation in
the software update (2.21 Grampians) files
streamed via a streaming server (such as
Twonky, Serviio or PC/Mac) in My Media Hub
will not play.
You can still browse and play media content
from a portable USB device, such as an External
Hard Drive or USB stick, connected to a USB
port on your Fetch box. See the ‘My Media Hub

Yes it is ridiculous that such a bug got through whatever testing process Fetch/optus employ.
Unfortunately the unofficial announcement on when this will be fixed was less than impressive. Sometime "early in 2019" is all that was provided. There has been some comments (and many requests) that the firmware will be rolled back but the longer it goes without that happening the less likely it seems (Optus and Fetch are just going to annoy a whole new batch of customers that have started using the new features of the box)
It seems only patience or getting a seperate media player are your options till Easter.

Any ETA for the FetchTV NAS streaming issue?
It's almost three months now, and all the school holidays we've been unable to use this feature!
Can't believe Optus/Fetch are allowed to leave a buggy patch on these devices for so long....
I am with Optus for my mobile phone but not Fetch TV - can you not share the workaround? Hopefully it's better than plugging in USB drive coz that don't work that well either.
