My fetch suddenly froze when WIN channel selected last night. It was unresponsive for some time, then eventually and painstakingly the tv guide was able to be selected and then again another wait to be able to select other channels. Once on other channels the fetch was working fine. When WIN was selected again the same freeze issue happened again. I soft reset the fetch then the issue happened again. Has anyone else experienced this?
Is it still happening? If the streaming problem is limited to a single channel, it may be that the content provider is experiencing transmission problems. Check the channel later. Further info on our Fetch Troubleshooting help and support page.
Hi, I have had the same problem for a couple of weeks now. Happens on all WIN tv chanels. Considering this is our local and strongest channel, and the only one we get local news and weather on, it is very frustrating. Optus don't seem to be able to fix it. They replaced our set top box, but still the same thing happens. Eventually there answere was to fit an antenna splitter and watch WIN on the TV and bypass the set top box. I even spent the money and got a TV antenna specialist to check our setup. He showed me we had a very strong, clean signal, so not an antenna or cable problem. Must be some thing with the Optus Fetch system. Sick of trying to deal with Optus call centres and getting nowhere. I am on the verge of cancelling all services with Optus.
