I changed wifi and neither fetch boxe will connect or even work at all, freezing on the firmware details screen after start up. Soft and hard reset will not work. Is there another way to factory reset the boxes aside from the color buttons on the remote?

Hey @daw077, its not great to see that you are having issues with your Fetch Freezing. By any chance - have you tried Troubleshooting your set top box yet? Give those a shot and see how you go.
Should you have issues after this, I would recommend having a chat to our Tech Support teams whom will be able to look into it closer and assist in the best possible way. Our teams are available 24/7 via the Optus App.
Just in case you have not done so already, could you also please connect your Fetch via the Ethernet cable provided. Generally speaking, an Ethernet plug in will almost always provides both a stronger Fetch connection
