This is very strange redstardesign 😕 Can you please confirm if you have the FetchTV box connected using the HDMI cable provided? Have you tried another cable to see if this fixes the problem?
Do you by chance have a spare HDMI cable or are you able to borrow one? Don't want you to spend money on a new one if this isn't the issue. Were the other cables included that you could use instead of the HDMI?
redstardesign, based on what you've said it sounds to me like it may be a picture setting on your TVs HDMI channel. Do you have another HDMI device you can connect to the same port, or could you please try another HDMI port on the TV if you have one available? If you check your picture settings with the Fetch connected, is the colour balance the same as your other channels?
Please let me know if you can check this, from all that you've said it seems the most likely cause. I have just started in the Social Media team but I have been working in the Tier 2 Tech Support team (specialising in Fetch TV) for 2 years before moving to this team and haven't heard of any other customers with a green tinge. In my experience, colour changes or sound issues can often be caused when people may accidentally bump a button on the remote (especially picture or sound settings for some reason) and may not be aware that it's been bumped 🙂
Mine does the same! So frustrating. Only thing that fixes it is to full out Ethernet and power cable. Fetch starts itself and it’s fine then. Big pain in the arse!!
Same problem here. Definitely not the TV or HDMI cords. I’ve changed them out and swapped them around but still the same problem. My Fetch is a bit warm. Could it be a heat problem?
I've tried doing a bit of research on this topic and I've only been able to pull up the one thread (this one). At least we've managed to rule out an issue with TV & HDMI cord. If all else fails, there's always the option of factory resetting your set top boxes. The obvious disadvantage that you would lose any saved/scheduled recordings, which isn't ideal. You can find the steps here → https://yescrowd.optus.com.au/t5/TV-Entertainment-Knowledge-Base/Fetch-TV-Hard-Reset/ta-p/133701. If the unit was overheating, I'd expect the device to freeze or power off. It might be worthwhile logging a hardware fault online with our TV & Content team. You can do that here →

I am having the same issues however a lot worse, i have a hisense 65k321uw uhd tv using the hdmi2.0 port. Initially ok then i get the green screen also resolution does not go to the 4k levels. It did at first now nothing only 1080p. Gen 3 fetch box. My issue is i have now cancelled foxtel and got another 2 fetch boxes which now seem pointless if i cannot use the 4k resolution that fetch state will work when in fact it does not, well it did once.
I am open to suggestions on resolutions but i cannot seem to find one. So happy to hear any resolutions anyone may have.
