Hi everyone, Can anyone help?
I've just had Fetch TV connected but I don't have a TV aerial connection.
I do have the old Foxtel cable connection in the wall.
Is there a way I can use this to get a TV signal for free to air TV?
don't think so, unless the foxtel connection is actually an aerial connection. Maybe plug it in, do a channel scan and see if you are lucky.
There are always catch up tv. If you are close to the television towers, then maybe try a desktop or indoor aerial, if not then consider an roof top aerial .
From what you say the answer is no.
There could be other solutions to your problem. Do you have a high data usage on your broadband plan? If you do you could look at streaming FTA programs casting from your smart phone or tablet using Chromecast. Buy a Chromecast dongle ($50) and use the Freeview app and you can stream to your tv FTA programs live.
Otherwise you will need to have a tv aerial.
Try an indoor aerial.
Costs $20 from Bunnings (can return if it doesn;t work) or various electrical stores.
Digital TV means there's a fair chance you'll get 100% reception.
