Fetch Sony issues

I have a new Sony 4G tv and cannot get it to recognise the fetch box. I have checked the cables and inputs which work fine on other devices. Fetch have sent me a new box and that also cannot be seen by the TV, does anyone have any suggestions?

Re: Fetch Sony issues

Hi @MatR, just to confirm how have you connected the Fetch box to the TV? HDMI Cable yes? This might sound silly but just wanted to confirm if you changed your TV input to the relevant HDMI channel?

Re: Fetch Sony issues

We have tried different HDMI inputs, I was on the phone to Sony for two hours and they tried a few things. It recognised the fetch box but it only lasted for about 24hours. We are now back to the tv not recognising anything on the input. The Sony guy said it could be a comparability issue.

Re: Fetch Sony issues

Hi @MatR, that is very strange as the Fetch box is compatible with most of the TV`s. Can I confirm you have already checked the firmware update for your TV? Would recommend to give → soft reset a shot.

If the issue still continues then you are best to speak with our Technical Support team via the → messaging service to assist you further.
