Fetch Mighty cannot read 5TB drive

Hi all,

I recently purchased a Seagate Backup Plus 5TB 2.5 inch USB drive.    The drive has been formatted to NTFS and is perfectly functional.  That is I can see all the files etc when I plug it into my PC.

When I plug it into the Fetch box it displays as a 0.19 GB USB drive and none of the files can be accessed on it.

I have other USB drives formatted to NTFS which are working as expected with the Fetch box, just not this one.  Any ideas ?

Many thanks in advance and have a wonderful day

Re: Fetch Mighty cannot read 5TB drive

PVRs and external drives can always be a little temperamental. Particularly ones powered via the USB and not a dedicated plug.
The fact you can see something though suggests its a formatting / size issue. 4096 Gb is a definite number/barrier so 5Tb might be to large for the PVR to handle

Try formatting only a 2Tb partition just to see if that can be recognised.
