Fetch Mighty box will not re-activate

I received the Fetch Mighty today.

Activation code accepted OK.

I think step 2 was to name the set top box. The defaut was FETCH MIGHTY. I tried to continue but the name was rejected. I too tried many different combinations, all were rejected.

As I could not get past this point I turned off the box (unplugged it).

On restart I am told thatt he box is not activated and am offered a setup internet screen, which seems to report the appropriate settings. but I cannot get past this point. I tried this several times.

To be honest I received the set top box today, and my expectation was that I would be able to connect using any ISP..

I am not yet an Optus ADSL2 customer - won't be connected til 23/8/2017.

I am currently with Adam/iiNet, and figured that the provider of the ADSL service would be irrelavent.

So how do I do a reset which will bring me back to the Activation entry screen.

I had a chat session a couple of days ago and was advises that Optus fetch will only work on Optus network. When I get connected on Wednesday 23/8/2017 all should be good (I hope)
