Fetch Box

I'm connected to the 'net via Optus HFC, have ordered Optus NBN, which will be installed in a couple of weeks, plus a Fetch stb which includes a free channel pack.  The Fetch box has arrived and I have the activation code.

 

Is it OK to install the Fetch box and free channel pack using my existing HFC connection and modem and then just switch to the new Optus modem when the NBN is installed.

Hi there @johnbardell,

 

It's worth a shot! The Fetch set top box is registered against your primary Optus username.

 

Given that you'll be switching from Optus Cable to NBN - your username should have remained as is.


The channel pack is billed to your NBN account. If the plan isn't yet active, I'm not sure if you'd have access to your free premium channel pack.

Thanks Dan. 

 

Have connecedt the Fetch box to my existing modem & HFC connection with no issues.  Will wait unitl my NBN account is activated (next week) before trying to access a channel pack.
