Failed hard drive in my Fetch Mighty box

My Fetch box has a faulty hard disk and will not start.

I have tried formatting the the disk but still receive harddisk failure error.

How do I get a replacement box??

I have 2 very young children that heavily rely on Fetch TV during these difficult times.

Thanks

Andrew

Re: Failed hard drive in my Fetch Mighty box

The Fetch should in theory still boot up with a faulty drive (you just can't record / play recordings).

Note that Fetch TV Kids package is free this month.

For a replacement you'll need to use the Optus mobile App and leave a message that you need one sent out (Optus will do this for free) also request a return satchel for the broken box.

Note that all your recordings are gone however any bought content (movies?) should be available still on the new box.

It does seem the Fetch team are still functioning well so you should get a reply sooner rather than later but it will still be a wait (also try facebook).

Note if you can't get a response in the next day or so let me know and I might have a spare I can loan out.)

Re: Failed hard drive in my Fetch Mighty box

Thank you for the quick response. I will tray for the 50th time to call Optus support.
I also was under the impression that the box would work without the harddisk but the unit will not fire up.
