My Fetch STB is coming up with the dreaded 'critical database and hardware fault' message for me as i have seen on here it has done for so many people before. Have tried soft and hard resets to no avail.
Any help or a new box would be appreciated.

You will need to ring Optus support, not online chat, as they will want to go through a few checks. If, as it sounds, the fetch box is terminally ill they will arrange for a new box to be delivered and you old box to be returned.
