My Optus Sport account that is linked to my overall Optus account currently is connected to an email that is deactivated I was wondering if I could get it changed?

You'll need to re-register an account using the current email, this does not charge you anything just to register. Once logged in, try to watch some content and you'll get a prompt to subscribe with button to restore purchase in the top right. Tap on that and follow the steps to link the existing subscription to this new email.
