Asked this question on an old thread.
No reply so I'll try again.
When I fast forward (x2) a recording it will be fine for a while ( a couple of mins in real time) but eventually it will start to stutter and I have to exit the fast forward.
When I try fast forward again the same thing happens.It might be shorter or longer than before.
Is this a hardware or software issue?
It does not seem to matter if I'm chase playing or playing a finished recording.
This is not the case with my Foxtel box.
Is it something to do with the resolution?
@grapense, we do have a new update due on the 19th.
Fetch software release - 2.20
I can't say that it'll fix the issue, but there's a number of bugs that have been fixed.
The release will roll out automatically to all Optus STB's over the next few days or will occur if the customer restarts their Fetch STB during this time.
I'd check in once the update has been rolled out. We can take it from there.
Definite improvement with the software update.
Watched two matches this morning and chased played both. Could only detect one possible instance of stuttering.
Will try again tomorrow.
