Hello Optus? Anyone there? Tryin to watch Watford-Arsenal as I type, with stoppages every 4 seconds (no not the ref). For what it's worth if you press 'back 10 secs' button or the forward equivalent it fixes it..for a minute. Not that makes it OK for us viewers but maybe the techs at Optus might find it useful to know...that's if they still care.
I am still waiting for my resolution to this issue. I have logged the fault a second time as I didn’t have contact with anyone after the first fault log. Doesn’t help that they don’t leave a message if I don’t answer my phone. In my job I can’t have my phone on me during work times. I tried to watch the Arsenal game too on demand, with the same frustrating result of continual pausing. I have reset the fetch box multiple times, run diagnostics which say my internet is fine. I have no trouble with Stan or live streaming FFA Cup matches through my tv so I think it must be the Ferch that is the problem. Incidentally I run Stan through the tv and not the fetch box. Hope this can be fixed sooner rather than later.
ok thought it was my setup but this is the second month with this issue. Arsenal on demand games pausing after 6 seconds on my fetch tv mini via wifi. Watch it through my mobile or laptop through WiFi and dont experience this issue, no pause. Watch EPL live through fetch mini via WiFi and that's perfectly fine. Always look forward to on demand but totally frustrating i cant watch it on my TV! this is why I paid for the box.
This is a well reported issue. Optus know it is only on Demand and after you hit FF - same as last season, same issue this season just started. Optus sorted it last year , same thing needed doing this year. Thanks for spoiling another early get up in the morning and ruining our beloved EPL Optus
Hey guys, if you have followed the steps above to submit the fault, but no one has been in touch, feel free to send me your fault reference number to follow up.
Your fault reference number is sent in an SMS once the form is submitted. Please allow 72 business hours before following up.
Hi. Still waiting to hear about my both of the faults I logged.
First reference is #160930126 logged on 1 October 2017. The second is #191014144 logged on 15 October. Note: I do not answer numbers I do not recognise as I am sick of the overseas telemarketers and unknown charities. Therefore, the person calling needs to leave a brief message stating it is Optus. I will then know the number is Optus and answer it the next time it appears. Otherwise, an email with a contact number for me to call is a suitable option. Thank you for following up.
Me neither. Reference number is 17376777
But the good news is that I have achieved Esteemed Contributor status or somesuch.
Think I'll investigate the the petition to the FA, it might be quicker.
