Have you been advised whats causing the delay?
The number was created under my name and I have now put the new Optus sim in hers. We have not been contacted by anyone and I "activated" the service on the 13th. I am very disappointed in the delay and the fact that I am having to chase up on this. Could I please get specific instructions on how to port her number?
Ah right! In order for the service to port over, the account holder for both carriers must be the same or the port will be rejected. You'll need to get in touch with Vaya to process a change of ownership and get the service put under her name so it can be ported over.
