Optus Perks Hoyts ticket problems

Hi, I have tried numerous times over the past few months to book Hoyts tickets through Optus Perks. This is what happens

1. Login in to my Optus Account

2. Navigate to movie tickets through Optus Perks

3. Click 'Book Now' link in Optus Perks which redirects me to the Hoyts website

4. Click 'Find times and Optus tickets' on the Hoyts webpage

5. Find the movie and session time that I am after and click 'Buy'

 

The problem is that the ticket prices are the standard Hoyts ticket prices not the Optus Perks prices.

I have tried this in three different browsers and also from my Optus Yes app on my iPhone. 

 

Am I doing something wrong or is this just rubbish UX?

Hi Peter,

 

Yes I am. I just reread the Terms & Conditions and obviously you can't book after 5pm on Saturdays. However I have this problem all the time. Maybe I will try booking for a day time session.

Hey @diagram-p, how did you get on with booking a daytime session? Were you able to see the Perks pricing?

Ok so it has taken me a while to test this but I can say it works fine. I booked a movie ticket last night following the same steps as above and it has additional ticket price lines for "Optus Perks Adult"and "Optus Perks Child". Suggestion to Optus would be to make the Terms & Conditions regarding booking restrictions more obvious as part of the customer journey.

Are you trying to book online or via the app? Both? it's working fine for me.


Have you selected a cinema first?

What movie and session are you trying to book? 

Have you checked it's not showing on Xtremescreen and other offer exclusions?
