I have spent the last three weeks driving around Tasmania. The mobile broadband, which works fine on the mainland, keeps dropping out. Is this a known problem? Or, do I have a problem with my 'new' modem?

We haven't seen other customers report this issue.
You can check the Network Status entering in your device to get results on what the expected coverage should be.
