Hi.... We have landline usage spasmodically. I have tried turning everything off, waiting and then turning back on. That does sometimes work but not for long. This keeps happening. Any clues?

Am I safe to say that we have you running on either an Optus Cable service or an NBN service?
The landline itself is plugged directly into the modem, or that going into the old-style wall socket?
