Usage is a bit faster now, but they have combined unmetered with metered. I suppose you have found the daily tally down in view details section.
If you use the app, you can get an idea of how much unmetered you use.
On an apple phone reset your usage counter each month.
On an android phone set up warnings and limits.
Best not to rely on Optus to warn you when they pocket $10 every time you go over your limit.

Are you having trouble differentiating between the data you're being charged for (included as a plan benefit) and data free services (Music,Sport,Netflix)?
As @10000000000GB advised, the data analytics tool gives you a breakdown of the total amount of data used during the billing period (that includes metered and unmetered data).
