confused about usage reading

I like to keep an eye on how much usage I use but I'm confused about the way it is now, why did they change it.Smiley Frustrated

Re: confused about usage reading

Usage is a bit faster now, but they have combined unmetered with metered. I suppose you have found the daily tally down in view details section.

If you use the app, you can get an idea of how much unmetered you use.

Re: confused about usage reading

On an apple phone reset your usage counter each month.

On an android phone set up warnings and limits.

Best not to rely on Optus to warn you when they pocket $10 every time you go over your limit.

Hey @lynxcat, our retail staff are always happy to help 🙂

Are you having trouble differentiating between the data you're being charged for (included as a plan benefit) and data free services (Music,Sport,Netflix)?

As @10000000000GB advised, the data analytics tool gives you a breakdown of the total amount of data used during the billing period (that includes metered and unmetered data).

If you do have any questions, we're happy to help.
