I recently moved to Coomera area and the Optus signal here is shockingly bad.
I submitted report with Optus and received some sort of automatic SMS update every few days informing me that they were looking in to it, but nothing has improved.
How has this been ignored for so long and are there any plans to upgrade or fix it.
I will have to move my family and I to another provider as soon as our packages expire.

Hi there @Sladec, I've checked our Network Status page and I can see that there is currently some planned network maintenance underway in the Coomera area. That maintenance is scheduled to be finalised by the 10/05.
Whilst the maintenance is ongoing you may continue to experience some interruptions of your service, however our technicians will aim to keep this to a minimum.
If you do have any other questions about your service, I recommend sending us a message directly via the My Optus App. We'll then be able to assist further from there.

@SladecI would download the "Aus Phone Tower" app on your phone and see what it can find in the way of towers near you. Drill down and find out which network is on the closest tower and if it is Optus then you will have to wait otherwise gran a SIM card when on special at Woolies or Coles for the network on then tower and give it a go and if it is okay then as @petergdownload has indicated try to get out of any contracts without penalty.

Thanks for the info, I tried the Tower app and can see that Telstra has better support in this area.
I will wait and see if there are any improvements after 10/05 then go from there.
