I love that the community was able to work this out prior to Optus announcing it - hahaha.

Probably that the devices go on sale tomorrow/friday and that user purchased theirs outright and Optus showed up as an option on the device.

@Dan_C would be limited with information before the official launch but did give us a heads up.

It's always difficult for us when it comes to these sorts of announcements.

I'm limited as to what I can actually reveal. 

Marketing do have set launch dates in mind and a preference for how this information is officially communicated to our customers.

The issue was never with you Dan. 

Optus need to have a good look at how they communcate in the future and deal with these issues.

They also need to tell PaddyLee to pull his head in. He contributed absolutely zero to the thread other than accusing people of being "conspiracy theorists".

Guess what, Optus sales reps do tell porkies, and I have a resolved case with the TIO to prove it.
