My post paid sim was cancelled yesterday. The day before I was told on the phone by Optus of an $8 fee to port my number to another provider so I waited the following day and now I cannot port my number as it was cancelled. Can it be reactivated?
In reply to my own question in case others need info on this.
Optus chat said it was impossible. Spend over an hour on two seperate chats to same answer.
So I tried a new tactic.
Simply asked to reactivate my number so I could go on a prepaid plan and voila. Done in 5 minutes!
