Why is this occurring and can Optus unblock?

It looks like some restriction on the ISP in Kuwait that you are possibly using. If you can't send mail using authentication on the Optus outgoing mail server then you might need to use webmail to send messages.
I use https://webmail.optusnet.com.au when travelling.
Message is prefaced with "5.7.1 Blacklisted IP:" and the message is hard to copy as it only pops up for a short time.
Thanks again ... there goes communication withn the outside world. I remember there is a web based link and from there you can access the desktop link (webmail.optusnet.com.au) . Do you know what the web one is?
Sorry Pete I don't follow your last question about the desktop link. Just create an internet shortcut on your desktop with the webmail url if that's what you mean?
Thanks, found that if I came in through the below link, that worked ... work that out .. got me beat.
Also using https://webmail.optusnet.com.au also reduces the time I am stopetc ped. I was lazy and jsut entered webmail...etc and that was where I was coming unstuck, I think.
