Why hasn't Optus notified its customers of NBN outage in 2577 Kangaroo Valley, NSW? Telstra notified their customers a few days ago. This is very poor customer service Optus.
Hmm that's an excellent question and I'm wondering if it has something to do with the fact that it's planned maintenance. There is nothing listed on the Optus network status page.
If Telstra can inform their customers of planned outages a week beforehand, why wouldn't Optus do the same? This is the second time this has happened since we subscribed with Optus NBN. We still pay full price for the service just like Telstra customers do and yet we do not get vital communication/ notices from you. My husband relies on Vital Call (for emergencies) through your network and not informing us about this sorts of outages are not acceptable for the disabled. The Telecommunication Ombudsman will be hearing from us about this. Second time it's happened, NOT acceptable.
