Netgear Optus 800s

Dear Sir
I would like to ask you about the netgear AC800s.
I found a seller online website, says that he has netgear AC800s Cat11 with maximum speed 600mb.
Is it real they can adjust with new update to be like that.
Thank you in advance.

Re: Netgear Optus 800s

Just because the device has that rating does not mean you will get it.

In perfect lab conditions you get close, but real world - no.

The device was released as Cat 9 LTE device, with a firmware update last year it enabled a few things thus now a Cat 11 LTE device.

Re: Netgear Optus 800s

Dear friends

I will post the reply which I got from Netgear regarding Optus 800S,  maybe it will help others.

(Hi There,

Thank you for your enquiry.  The Optus AC800S which is SKU AC800S-1STAUS is CAT11 with max speed of 600Mbps.  Just make sure the device is upgraded to the latest FW NTG9X40C_11.14.08.36.  There is also a SPARK NZ version of AC800S which is SKU AC800S-1SZNZS which is only CAT9 capable.  I hope that answers your question.

Kind Regards,

Thank you
