Our home fixed line 'phone cannot receive or make calls.
It gives what sounds like an engaged signal. Loud beeps.
Get a "can't connect" message when trying to ring home number from Mobile.
Internet ADSL is working just fine. Tried new filter.
Would this be a faulty phone sympton or should I call Optus?
The lines are plugged into the correct way in the filter? Another phone to check would have been handy. You can't borrow a mate or neighbours phone for a quick check?
