I'm pretty over this and im sure its the same for everyone but basically ive spent the last 2 hours being run around by different call centres associated with optus to try and disconnect my internet! I was told a few times now that I will be reconnected to the right department which I then get a "this department is experiencing technical difficulties" notice and get disconnected, I also tried to ask what the specific number is of this seemingly secret disconnection department in which they tell me its the same number that I called to get through to them! - 133937.
I seem to be caught in some kind of optus inception loop. It really shouldnt be this hard guys come on.
Yep phone support really can be a frustrating experience and where possible I try and avoid it. Have you tried billing and accounts via the live chat link below? I'm not sure if they can help you but it might be worth a shot.
