Campsie 4G extremely slow

Since last Sunday where we had a thunderstorm in Sydney, my 4G Optus mobile data speed has plummeted to between 1Mbps to 4Mbps (download/upload) around Campsie area.

Around Bellevue Hill and City area, the speed was around 20Mbps (download) and 10Mbps (upload).

I am using iPhone 11, and e-sim. This has never happened before.

I used to have quite a high speed internet using my Optus mobile data. Does anyone experience the same thing?

Hi CQ,

There is an open fault ticket for the mobile network 22291125 for loss of multiple sites across NSW due to severe storms/high winds/heavy rains.

It mentions a Kingsgrove site was down and has been running on a generator for about a week.

Whilst this specifies for home phone and broadband services, Campsie isn't list here, it's pretty much due to the same reason. 

Overall, Optus technicians are definitely aware of the issues and are doing their best to restore power as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience.
