pls explain optus modem lights

Hi

Am just connected to the NBN via HFC.  The DSL and WPS are not lit up at all. Is that OK?  The internet, wifi and phone is working ok. The WAN lights on the back has one green and one orange - what does that mean please?

thanks

Re: pls explain optus modem lights

This http://devicehelp.optus.com.au/sagemcom/gateway-f-st-3864-windows-10/first-use/guide-to-the-modem-le... is for the 3864 modem; the 3864AC is the same except that Fibre=WAN. At the rear, green means that there is an active connection and orange indicates speed (100 MHz). WPS should remain off if you don't use WPS to connect a wireless device; DSL is active only for an ADSL or FTTN connection. So, on HFC, all is good for you.
