Are you able to give us some examples? Not sure what icons you're referring to I'm afraid.

This is what I mean - I get the icons not the actual pictures. BUT it is very intermittent on only a few emails. I have windows 10 with Trend security, Adblock Plus

Thanks for sending through a screenshot, @jawsjaws.

Images in emails are sometimes blocked from downloading automatically for security reasons. 

If you have received an email from a trusted sender and would like to view the images attached in the email, there should be a scripting on the email itself for you to accept the downloading of images attached in the email.

do  you know what the option in the messaging looks like? I can't determine that in the 50 or so lines of text that may affect this
