My landline phone has not worked since attempting to move to NBN
Nightmare - I was a happy Optus Cable cutomer & Telstra mobile
I was talked into moving all mobile accounts as part of NBN deal
I was left stranded with no Internet when they attempted to get me onto NBN
Contracted kindly came back and reinstalled my cable internet
however land line doesn't work anymore
additionally our mobile reception is rubbish here in ST IVES
What is the latest regarding your landline? Do you know what the reason is?

Yeah on face value that doesn't appear to make much sense... SIM Only plans for mobile phone I presume? Either way if you decide to break the contract and are getting resistance for SIM Only services, perhaps request to speak to a Manager to get their explanation and maybe a different outcome.
