Hi. My problem is this.
I have optus nbn and have 5 different optusnet email accounts.
I use live mail as my email program.
I am having NO problems with my internet connection.
When I log on to optusnet WEB MAIL I CAN send emails no problems.
I am receiving emails with no problem.
For at least the last couple of weeks when I am connected through my Optus nbn modem I can't send, reply or forward any emails, they just go to my outbox but I have no problem receiving.
BUT When I connect the same laptop using my telstra modem the same email from the same email program sends no problem.
I have tried my other laptop and have the same problem.
I have tried using Thunderbird, same problem.
I have checked and rechecked (and deleted and retyped) all settings in all my accounts and they are all good.
I have checked and rechecked my anti virus and firewall setting...no problems.
The error is:
------------The connection to the server has failed.
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0E
Socket Error: 10060 --------------------------
This problem seems to only occur when I am using my optus NBN home account.
It appears as though there is a block in place.
PLEASE help with this problem.

Hi George_YC. I contacted messaging us via the My Optus App yesterday and gave them a full explanation of the problem and now over 24 hrs later I have heard nothing. I was given a reference number and that is that:(
