Hi Optus Yes Crowd, I am having issues with my Uniden Dect 1735-2 cordless phone handsets dropping out. I have three handsets and one of the handset will say "out of range" which means we cannot use that handset. This happens to all of the three handsets irregularly and is frustrating to say the least. I have had the system replaced by Uniden twice under warranty but it keeps happening. Does anyone have any suggestions??? We are connected to the NBN but this issue has happened before we had the NBN. Is it anything to do with the DECT 6 this system has??? I would appreciate any suggestions, thank you very much. Harry.
My understanding is that under consumer law in Australia, you can ask to have the system returned as unfit for purpose. If you succeed in this, I've found Siemens cordless to be excellent.
