I wonder if Optus understand how difficult they have made it is to convert from Optus ADSL to Optus NBN. Once our area went live I received promotional material from every telco except Optus. I eventually filled in the Optus online application, which took no account of my being an Optus customer with an existing ADSL service. Then I the got an email and a SMS asking me to call 13009219949. It took me 3 days to get through to that number without a "please call later". Today I spoke to a person who was very helpful. Most people would give up but I am very persistant. I wonder if Optus are experiencing a low conversion rate?
Just don't switch to NBN, or find some other provider if you are out of contract. Sorry I hate Optus NBN. I don't know what the point for Australia government to build NBN. No speed boost, no stablity, no cost slash. Why build NBN?
